BILLY CHONG, to my knwoledge has a pretty ordinary filimography , that is distinguished in isolated areas by bursts of brilliance .CRYSTAL FIST is one of the areas that that stands out brilliantly.
This is a pretty oridnary story with fights and action that is of an extraordinary pedigree.
A couple of the YUEN'S CLAN members form part of the choreography team and their emblem has tatooed this piece of work with the usual class and grandeur that is inextricably linked with anything they touch.
Get this movie , not for the story-telling ;which is tired and unoriginal ......not for the acting which is simply inept and bereft of substance.....get it for the absolutely fantastic fight scenes which is the strongest selling point of most of the movies of this genre....at least to my mind !
