Ichi has a price on his head and seeks refuge in a village well known to him. Since his last visit, the village has fallen prey to Boss Masagoro, the son of a businessman suspected to have stolen Gold from the Shogunate. The boss has hired a bounty hunter named Yojimbo as his enforcer, however Yojimbo is both a spy working on behalf of the shogunate, trying to find the missing gold. He is also seeking to romance the merchant’s unwilling mistress Umeno. During this quest Ichi is hired by the merchant to buy Umeno freedom.
