Zatoichi quest continues as he comes upon a town named Tonda, overrun by brutal gangsters. Zatoichi decides to utilise one of his favored tactics by way of winning 8 ryo in a rigged gambling game. In essence the local gangster will inevitably attempt tp kill him and then his plan starts to materialise. It then comes apparent that a blacksmith named Senzo examines Zatoichi’s cane sword, and discovers it to be forged by his old mentor. Senzo discovers that the sword is at the end of its usefulness and will break when it is used next.
